The Scholar Class, 2nd Playtest

Presented here is the second iteration of a new class, Scholar, along with three subclasses; Culinarian, Physician, and Tactician. The Scholar class is a martial class with three defining characteristics.

• Applied Intelligence. Scholars are non-spellcasters that rely on their Intelligence in and out of combat. Use your Analyze Enemy feature to use Intelligence in place of Strength or Dexterity when making weapon attacks and increase the number of times you can use your Sage Advice feature.

• Sagacious Support. Scholars help their allies claw victory from the jaws of defeat with their Sage Advice feature, potentially turning failures on D20 Tests into successes.

• Superior Skills. Scholars can choose from a variety of abilities based on skills they are proficient in or have Expertise with. Scholars possess Erudite Applications that allows mundane knowledge to compete with magical spells.
